The U.S. Goverment has always been a favorite for hackers to test their skills. A good percentage of these hacks have been to the department of defense (DoD). Hackers often see the DoD as the final test of their supremacy as one of the hacks to end all hack's.

In Ferbruary several successful hacks were made against military systems, the same time that our military forces were being made ready for possible attack on Iraq. Yet only a few hacks that have been investigated by the Pentagon and FBI. From February to June of this year over a half dozen attacks have been made.

But, not only has DoD been atacked, NASA has known to been attacked as many as 3 times in the past 6 months. To counter-act this has signed two new directives to strengthen defense. Alliances have also been formed with public and private groups to create a united strategy against these hacks.
